Story so far:
Naina and Shazmeen still not ready to forget their past, still revengeful, still scheming against each other and still getting betrayed by their partners. Their kids, Anum and Faraz did try to come out of this dirty politics but even they are being used by their beloved parents.

The dazzling diva, Anaya has moved ahead with her plan without even considering her own daughter’s feelings. Her past is yet to be revealed so it’s still a mystery why she is behind Shazmeen.

The brutal burly Shazmaan is still struggling to find one trustworthy person in his life. He is still unsure where to go, what to do and what he wants in his life.

Let’s have a look what 10th episode had in store for us.

Till 9th episode the mystery behind Anaya’s hatred against Shazmeen hasn’t been unfolded but 10th episode not only answered few queries but also put some characters on test.

Show opened up with a last episode continuation scene between Shazmaan, Anaya and Maria. Shazmaan unhesitatingly declared about his marriage with Anaya and that left Maria numb.

The young girl has been put in an awful state by her own mother. She negated Shazmaan, thinking it to be a mere trick to keep him away from her. Maria’s sudden confrontation with her mother made Shazmaan more furious and as expected he declared not to mess-up with his wife.

Anaya, who never failed to exploit situations against her own benefits, failed to control that scenario. Perhaps that was because; she can’t openly admit her intentions behind that marriage. So she decided to meet Maria in person and make her understand the reason.

There comes the biggest revelation of this show when the traumatized Maria called her father after being psychically abused by Shazmaan. One never imagined Iftikhar to be Maria’s farther. Iftikhar’s entry as Anaya’s ex-husband not only put Shazmaan in dilemma put also raised few questions in his mind reg Anaya’s intensions.

Here we got to know the real truth behind Anaya’s detestation against Shazmeen and family. Iftikhar left Anaya and as a result Anaya bounced back into his life with Shazmaan. It was so easy to make Shazmaan believe that the marriage is actually a political marriage which will be fruitful for both of the parties.

At the moment Shazmaan’s only concern is to have Anaya and the wicked lady so aptly using his emotions in right directions.

On the other hand we saw Naina entering into Shazmeen’s house with Anum’s proposal, which was refused by Shazmeen for obvious reasons. The scene made Naina as savior and Shazmeen as barrier. Naina convincingly made kids believe in her good intentions and that she is ready to overlook the prolong revenge just for the sake of her son.

It will be interesting to watch Iftikhar’s next move against Anaya, Yawer’s confrontation with Shazmaan after his marriage, Naina’s next move to manipulate Anum, Anaya’s next big jolt and how Shazmeen tackles the ongoing circumstances.

My Analysis:
Mera Saaien 2 successfully completed 10 episodes and by far this show can’t be considered tedious or hasty. Like I mentioned in last review the transition of tracks and scenes have been quite smooth. The show has nicely been pen downed by the writer and so far the plots are interesting.

If we talk about Shahood’s performance then this show has definitely put a feature on his cap. The way he is performing, he didn’t leave a room to complaint. The scene between Shazmaan and Iftikhar, which was the most pivotal scene of that episode, was shown brilliantly. Iftikhar’s dialogues and Shazmaan’s timely replies made that whole conversation a memorable one.

Mahnoor looks so good portraying Anaya’s character and it looks as if this character is tailor-made for her only. Her character shows, if a woman turns vicious she would cross all limits in attaining her goals.

I just hope MS 2 continues to entertain its viewers in coming episodes as well.
