Story so far:

Till 4th episode we experienced a roller costar ride with Mera Saaien 2, from Shazmeen’s taking over Mailk’s position to Naina’s turning into her biggest rival. We have seen Iftikhar getting married with Shazmeen and then exploiting her for his own grimy plans. We have witnessed Mailk Yawer getting a trump card in the face of Wajahat’s son Shazmaan. Now let’s see what 5th episode had in store.

Random mussing on 5th episode:

“A man who contemplates revenge keeps his wounds green”, this proved right for Mera Saaien characters. Initially Shazmeen was on revenge spree. She got rid of Wajahat and then Naina as well. But she wasn’t the one who became victim of this politics. When she thought she defeated Yawer and Naina completely, Iftikhar turned the table to other side and now ball is in his court. He is abusing her badly but she is forced to bear all this just because of her daughters. On the other hand we saw Yawer who got humiliated by Shazmeen several times, finally got something to cheer. Just like a spoilt brat he got the toy he wished for and now he is in a commanding position to tear down anyone’s life and particularly Shazmeen’s.

Again Iftikhar’s shrewd mind took a u-turn and with the help of Shazmeen they proved Yawer guilty and grabbed all the sympathies from all over again. This left Naina numb and there she decided to marry Yawer to go along with the flow of events.

One of the important development that took place in 5th episode was, Naina announcing Yawer as Sahzmaan’s guardian and giving him the authority to bring him up the way he wants.

Andhay ko aur kia cahye? Do ankhian, after getting this opportunity Yawer brought Shazmaan in the best way he can. He made sure Shazmaan gets all the evil traits from him and the brutal, nasty Shazmaan didn’t let him down. He started harassing his siblings at a very young age and that clearly showed what kind of a person he will be in coming days.

A kid who has been taught settling of scores whole his childhood would be on extremes of criminal intention. That is how Shazmaan entered into the scene. Ready to payback what his mother earned, ready to get his father’s revenge but not so ready to spare anyone.

Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves and Shazmaan entered believing in this line only. He is not scared of anyone but he is gonna make sure everyone get scared of him.

Performance analysis:

If we talk about performances then Shahood Alvi, Waseem Abbas and Aamina sheikh were among the shinning stars. Aamina did improve her expressions and dialogue delivery in last 2 episodes. The one character which disappointed me the most was Shazmeen’s (played by Sunita), she has been shown really weak in last 2 episodes. Despite of learning some useful lessons from life after Wajahat she is shown at the pity of Iftikhar. My objection was, why she suffered whole her life, why didn’t she take any step against him? She had the power she would have used in numerous ways but seems she just raised her hands at the very start of war.

Fahad’s entry definitely left a thump on girl’s hearts. His flair, his expressions, and the way he walks makes him fit for Sahzmaan’s character. Special mention to the background score that sounds perfect and leaves solid impression.

An eye for an eye ends up making the whole world blind; this is what going to happen. All are suffering but they are just concerned about their pain. The war has just started so lets see how Shazmaan is gonna enter into Shazmeen’s life and making it a living hell.
